Dr Cordelia Chan is a senior consultant ophthalmologist with nearly three decades of experience treating comprehensive eye conditions in both adults and children. After graduating from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees in 1991, she earned fellowships from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and a Master of Medicine (Ophthalmology) degree from NUS.
Dr Chan spent 21 years at the Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC), where she was Head of the Refractive Surgery Service. She is one of the earliest pioneers to perform several advanced procedures in Singapore, including bladeless LASIK, small incision lenticule extraction (SMILE) and lamellar corneal transplantation.
Dr Chan is internationally recognised due to her active involvement with leading organizations.
