Upon returning to Singapore, Dr Tan spearheaded intervention via the radial approach in Changi General Hospital. He has given many presentations in international meetings. He also has extensive experience in performing stenting of the left main artery and chronic total occlusion (arteries which have been completely blocked for a long time). He also has a great wealth of experience in doing complex cases in patients who declined bypass surgery.
